VHS to Video, 5:55 min, 2016

After developing chronic pain in my early 20s, I turned towards home movies in an attempt to understand how my past environment shaped present patterns. Press Play is the evolution of a personal psychological inquiry that developed into a video invested in reclaiming the video gaze. I treated the VHS footage as found material as I did not remember the events.
